“VETO” social-political movement expresses its concern over the December 19th break-in in the editorial office of “Zhoghovurd” daily and another violation of the freedom of speech and the press.

All of this is a result of not giving an adequate legal assessment to the atmosphere of hatred and impunity generated by the authorities in Armenia and similar incidents that have often occurred in recent months. Taking into account the frequency of attacks on media outlets, we can state that harassment of the press and restriction of freedom of speech in our country today are turning into an unacceptable pattern.
We express our support and strengthening to to the editorial staff of “Zhoghovurd” daily.
