“VETO” social-political movement's announcement

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia delivered a speech in the National Assembly on 06.02.2020. His speech was reminiscent of the speeches of Adolf Hitler, the Third Reich Führer of Nazi Germany, both in content, rhetoric and purpose. In particular, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia declared himself a people and stated (quotation):

"I would like to say that all the people and forces that will try to impose legal or other obstacles to the free expression of the people's will, will be adequately rebuffed as anti-national, anti-democratic and anti-state forces.

And those who will accept the supreme authority of the people, the supreme right of the people, will become devotee creators of the future Armenia” (end of quotation). The Prime Minister also vowed from the NA rostrum (quotation)." And all of you will hear the yelp of unleashed perverts." (end of quotation).

According to Nikol Pashinyan, all citizens of Armenia who have a different opinion are anti-state and anti-national forces, and all those who obey Pashinyan's will, should be classified as "devotees to create future" accordingly.

The civilized world has already tasted the fruits of persecution and sanctification on behalf of the people. The insane leader of Nazi regime Adolf Hitler also paved his way through speeches with similar content. Unfortunately, this speech from the rostrum of the Parliament of the RA coincides with groundless attacks on dissident citizens by law enforcement officers, with the practice of laying and humiliating dissident citizens in the streets, attacks by specially bred political hooligan groups and so on.

"VETO" movement considers the rhetoric of the executive power unacceptable. History has proved that such rhetoric is destructive. The leaders proclaiming themselves a people conceal their illegalities and anti-democratic practices, and members of Parliament impetuously applauding Führer’s speeches cannot avoid personal responsibility after those speeches. We urge the Prime Minister to be clear-headed. We urge him to become the Prime Minister for all citizens of the RA, not just for those who share his opinion.
