“VETO” Members Barred from Getting Closer to Baghramyan 26: They Released Balloons

The police did not allow the participants of an awareness rally about the dangers of Open Society Foundations-Armenia among EAEU member states and Iranian presidents to continue their march to Baghramyan 26.

The police officer informed the protesters that they were carrying out enhanced service in the city, and it was  prohibited by law to approach Baghramyan 26.

The leader of "VETO" movement Narek Malyan noted that they would read the text of their statement, and through the media this would reach the leaders of foreign states that had arrived in Armenia.

"We will read the text of the statement in Russian here, we also have posters in Persian, and we also call on Iran to fight against Soros’ activities," Malyan said.

Protesters released balloons with “Stop Soros” inscriptions and ended their protest action.
